PUBLIC GUIDE: Physical Activity & Younger Living

Doing enough physical activity is really important to staying 'young', healthy and happy. 

Decades of research has proven that increasing physical activity results in a huge range of benefits. In addition to the obvious benefit of feeling physically fitter and being able to do more, exercise reduces the risk of heart disease, cancer, diabetes and dementia, and also been proven to reduce stress, improve mood, encourage healthier eating & weight loss and improve sleep. 

How much exercise should I do?

The more activity you do, the more years you 'take off' - so it really is possible to exercise yourself younger! Whilst doing any kind of exercise is better than none, to start getting real benefits you need to do at least 150 minutes of moderate activity or 75 minutes of vigorous activity per week.
