Prof Jose Ordovas

Nutrition and Genetics Expert

Prof Jose Ordovas is Professor of Nutrition and a Senior Scientist at the USDA-Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging at Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts where he also is the Director of the Nutrition and Genomics Laboratory.

Prof Ordovas’ major research interests focus on the genetic factors predisposing to cardiovascular disease and obesity and their interaction with the environment and behavioral factors with special emphasis on diet. 

He has published about 600 scientific articles in peer review journals and written numerous reviews and books on these topics In this regard, he is considered one of the most renown world experts in gene-diet interactions related to cardiovascular traits .
